The most patient volunteer is often the hardest to notice. The effects of their kind and welcoming attitude only reveal themselves many weeks or months down the line, when you notice residents more at ease, or calmer, or simply more content in their surroundings.

The accolade of the most patient volunteer went to Crystie Situ, whose 2 years of service as a musician and meal encourager has allowed her to enrich the lives of so many residents. She “enjoy[s] the interactions…with the [residents], and thoroughly cherish[es] the memories…so far”

Upon receiving her award, Crystie reflected on how “being appreciated is another reminder that what [she] does…is valued and enjoyed.” Much to our delight, she noted how she “would love to further [her] commitment at Three Links in the near future”: a future we all eagerly look forward to.
