At the end of September, the Three Links Care Society Board of Directors announced that

Three Links CEO David Hurford was no longer with the Society and that a search for a new CEO would begin immediately.

David first joined Three Links in 2017, and under his leadership the Society has successfully completed a development project with the Odd Fellows Society; expanded care for long-term care residents; ended outsourcing of nurses, PSWs and other support workers; improved communications with families; and, most recently, guided the organization through what has been to date, the worst of the COVID pandemic. The board is grateful for David’s efforts and wishes him well in his future endeavours.

The board has appointed Marie Olsson as the Acting CEO until a new CEO is hired. This is the second time that Marie has taken on this role, so the Society and the residents in our care are in capable and experienced hands.

As part of the recruitment process, the board intends to reach out to staff, families and other stakeholders for input that will help guide the search for a new CEO. This step will help ensure that the interests of all those who are part of the Three Links community are kept top of mind.
