Three Links Care Centre Information

Three Links Care Centre is home to residents with complex care needs. Our valued staff share our belief that each stage of life offers opportunities for growth, and that every older adult is unique, possesses values and goals, strengths and limitations, rights and responsibilities. We treat our residents with respect.

Opened in 1982 by the Odd Fellows and Rebekah Fraternal Orders and wholly owned by Three Links Care Society, the Three Links Care Centre is a not for profit, comprehensive, long term, complex care facility with a six bed Dialysis Unit. An affiliate of Vancouver Coastal Health Authority, the Centre is fully accredited and licensed. The Centre is located across the street from Renfrew Park, Renfrew Park Community Centre, the Vancouver Public Library – Renfrew Branch, Renfrew/Collingwood Seniors Centre and Three Links Manor.

Residents are served by an inter-professional health team which includes health professionals and support staff. We believe our residents: have a right to participate in the development of his or her plan of care; the right to privacy; the right to be informed; the right to refuse treatment or service and the right to live and die with dignity and respect.

Three Links Care Centre consists of three floors, totaling 90 private rooms on the second and third floors. These 90 rooms are divided into three separate units, each with its own nursing station providing 24 hour professional care. Six of these rooms are reserved for our Peritoneal Dialysis Unit. Nursing Stations are located on each nursing unit: Complex Care (Whiting Place), Special Care (Rebekah Place), and Extended Care (Kinney Place).

There are two bright, outdoor patio areas on the main floor and an outdoor patio for the use of our Special Care residents and their families on the second floor. For the safety of our residents, a Wander Guard system is installed on all of the Care Centre’s exterior doors.
